ASUS Camps is a not-for-profit, student-run, community outreach organization aimed at engaging the imagination and creativity of Kingston youth. We offer camp programming for children ages 4-8 to encourage interest in arts and science from a young age. Our camps run from July to August. Each week is comprised of a unique theme and a variety of engaging activities and incorporates the standards of education that are present within the Ontario Curriculum.

Our camp counsellors create a positive atmosphere designed to help your children develop friendships, discover new skills, and most of all have FUN. ASUS Camps intend to help campers learn positive attitudes while encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and fair play. This summer promises to be an exciting one, so get your registration form in early!

ASUS Camp is thrilled to be offering French Immersion programming again this summer! Campers will spend the day speaking French with their peers and counsellors alike, while engaging in exciting activities and games designed to improve French language skills and comprehension. ASUS Camp’s weekly themes are the same for English and French campers, though camp activities will differ between the two streams.

While campers do not need to be fully fluent in French to register for our French Immersion program, a good understanding of the language would be beneficial, as the day will largely be spent communicating and playing in French. Upon registration, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to indicate their camper’s level of French proficiency. This indication will help the ASUS Camp Team group campers together based on their comfortability with the language.

ASUS Camps is a Nut Free camp. To make sure both our campers and counsellors are safe this summer be sure to pack nut free snacks and lunches for your campers throughout the week!
